UV-C radiation for the prevention of hospital infections

Correct and consistent disinfection is extremely important, especially in medicine. In fact, hospital infections are among the biggest cost drivers and risks in the health care system. However, UV-C disinfection devices minimize the number of dangerous viruses and bacteria.

You will find highly efficient equipment for the operating theatre such as UV fans, various UV-C boxes and cabinets for disinfecting surgical instruments as well as suitable instruments for surface disinfection. The use of UV-C combats bacteria, mould spores and viruses without the use of chemicals or dangerous vapours and is ideal for use in medicine.

In this highly sensitive area, too, our qualified specialists will provide you with sound advice to help you find the best product for your needs.

Highest quality and performance for the benefit of health

Because of its medical approval class 1, the UV-Fan is perfectly suited for the operating theatre area and destroys, among other things, multi-resistant germs (MRSA), viruses and bacteria. With its high UV-C output and mirrored irradiation chamber, the UV-FAN achieves a Log 3 (99.9%) in relation to hospital germs and even a Log 8 (99.999999%) at 150m3/h in relation to the SARS-CoV-19.

Stethoscope disinfection before each use is not always easy to implement. But with the StetClean it is easier than ever. The battery-operated device is hooked into the breast pocket and has space for standard stethoscopes. As soon as the stethoscope is plugged in, a disinfection routine is automatically started and is available again in a disinfected state for each use.

We have one of the most comprehensive ranges around medical UV-C disinfection - from products for air purification, boxes and cabinets, surface disinfection as well as the dosimeter cards as a control mechanism for GMP applications. Laboratory tests are available for the correct irradiation dose for most organisms; know their respective required UV-C dose. Benefit from our broad knowledge and experience!

DENTISTS

In dental surgeries, aerosol exposure is extremely high because patients cannot close their mouths when breathing.

PATIENT ROOMS

The risk of infection is significantly increased in the patient's room or in the hospital environment. It is not only the SARS-CoV-19 viruses that occur in the waiting area of the test infrastructure, but also multi-resistant germs such as MRSA or influenza, rhinovirus, norovirus and many more.

WAITING ROOMS

In the waiting room of a doctor's office, patients are often exposed to the pathogens present for more than 20 minutes. In addition, there is an increased total germ count in the air, as sick people usually go to the doctor.

LABORATORY

Laboratory disinfection, usually a combination of air cleaning and surface disinfection, is often used in PCR test laboratories to prevent not only the total number of germ  in the air but also the accumulation of germs on  surfaces.

SANITATION

means the microbial load in acceptable and optimal hygiene standards which depend on the intended use of the environments. Affected sanitation is often used as "clean", but must be preceded by cleaning.

DESINFECTION

means reducing the microbial load as low as possible, i.e. at least 1 log (90%) of the bacteria present. The reduction of the microbial load is a basic value n disinfection and is expressed in Log Reduction. A good level of disinfection is about 2 logs (99%). A very good disinfection is 3 logs (99.9%) and 4 logs (99.99%) is considered a very high standard.

STERILISATION

is the next stage, which is to achieve any complete re-duction of the microbial load, we can talk about sterilization, if the reduction is proven to be not less than 6 logs, which means (99.9999%). To declare sterility, the test must be proven and certified by a third party.
