The new, sophisticated design is almost half the size of our previous models and is packed with new features and highly integrated hardware. SCHMIDT + HAENSCH's more than 150 years of experience in polarimetry is reflected in all components such as the reinforced aluminium core, the built-in sample quality indicator and the calibration standard check. The new integrated Peltier system can change 10 °C in 30 seconds with the highest precision. After stabilising the temperature, the measurement itself takes only 6 seconds. Optimised electronic components ensure low power consumption and, together with an advanced standby mode, the VariPol delivers fast response times and helps to conserve resources.
Thanks to our LED light technology, the light source is maintenance-free throughout the life of the device, saving you maintenance costs and downtime.
